For peak seasons (July–October Great Migration & Christmas/New Year), we recommend booking 4–6 months in advance to secure prime camps. For shoulder seasons, 4–8 weeks is usually enough. Last-minute departures are possible — contact us and we'll do our best.
Most nationalities need an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) obtained online at etakenya.go.ke at least 3 days before travel. We provide step-by-step guidance and confirmation letters with your booking.
Yellow fever is required only if arriving from a yellow-fever endemic country. Routine vaccines (hepatitis A/B, typhoid, tetanus) are recommended. Malaria prophylaxis advised for Mara & coast — consult your travel doctor 4–6 weeks before departure.
Yes — the parks, coast and safari corridors are exceptionally safe for tourists. Our drivers are trained in emergency response, all vehicles carry first-aid kits & satellite phones, and camps have 24/7 security.
US Dollars (post-2013 notes) are widely accepted at lodges & parks. Kenyan Shillings (KES) are best for tips, curios and local restaurants. Card payments work almost everywhere in cities and lodges. Use our currency toggle to preview package prices in USD or KES.
